Beginning 2021, The Stonington Group (TSG) has entered into a Partner Alliance with Kinext Holdings. The alliance agreement focuses on extending TSG’s Industry Development work and enhancing Kinext’s customer offerings. “Kinext has a very creative, motivated and well-connected team” says Chris Thomas, “we’re anticipating the alliance will extend the reach of our Industry Development frameworks to a broader audience.” As part of the agreement, Chris Thomas will function as the Chief Strategy Officer of Kinext as well.

Chris Thomas returned to his Alma Mater as one of three keynote speakers at the Analytics and Business Intelligence Consortium (ABIC) organized by Carroll University’s School of Business. In the presentation “The Watchers and the Watched” he provided an Industry Development perspective to the evolving industry of data science.

TSG's Industry & Ecosystem Development "Fireside Chats"
In support of an ongoing effort to enable Communications Industry leaders and executives to engage as a cooperative community, The Stonington Group developed and CEO Chris Thomas delivered a pair of "Fireside" chats at the Open ROADS Community Meeting outside of London November 9th and 10th 2016. The chats were designed as a follow-on to the January event in Singapore; taking a deeper and interactive look at how the community can engage together on initiatives, alliances and standardization.

Chris Thomas and Rob Lampereur participated in the Open ROADS Community Inaugural Meeting June 14-15, 2016 in Singapore delivering the Industry Keynote and actively participating in the event's strategic decision making sessions. Chris' keynote was very well received as it framed the challenges and opportunities ahead as the Telco Industry continues to intersect more with Cloud Service Providers and evolves to support additional ICT services.

Orange Crush wins Junior Girls Softball Title
The Stonington Group's first sponsored sports team has taken top honors in the Scotts Valley Girls Softball league's Junior division. Stonington's Chris Thomas co-coached the girls to a 14-1 regular season, winning First Place for the season and also a winning all 4 games to place First in tournament play. Congratulations to a truly talented team.
